Ajijic is set to welcome an international gathering of musical talent as Festival del Lago’s Summer Academy kicks off its sixth season.
With close to 60 college-aged violinists, cellists and violists, along with eight esteemed faculty members hailing from around the world, this musical extravaganza has quickly become renowned for its exceptional educational opportunities and remarkable contributions to the local community.
The Festival del Lago Summer Academy, scheduled July 30 to August 14, is not just any music program - it embodies the true spirit of cultural exchange. Half of the program’s spots are reserved for Mexican students, ensuring a harmonious blend of international perspectives and local talent. Together, these passionate musicians embark on an immersive journey of music education, collaboration and performance.
