A new and exciting free activity for children in the Lakeside community is coming this April, organized by the Lake Chapala Society (LCS). The Kids’ Easter Party will take place on Saturday, April 11, offering an afternoon of creativity, games, and a classic Easter Egg Hunt designed especially for children. A light refreshment will be provided.
On this day, the grounds will be transformed into a colorful treasure trove, with bright plastic eggs hidden throughout the area for children ages 4 to 10 to discover under the supervision of an adult. Each egg will contain a sweet surprise.
The event will run from 1 to 3 p.m., with a variety of engaging activities leading up to the grand hunt. From 1 to 2:30 p.m., children will be able to paint ceramic eggs, play lively rounds of Easter Bingo, join the Musical Bunny Hop for hopping fun, and decorate their own paper bags to use during the egg hunt.
The highlight of the afternoon will take place from 2:30 to 3 p.m., when children will embark on the Grand Easter Egg Hunt, searching for hidden eggs across the LCS gardens. Participation is limited to the first 100 children who register, so early registration is encouraged.
