Games

The Saturday Games Day at the Lake Chapala Society (LCS) on April 21 attracted a group of members and non-members ready to play their favorite games or learn some new ones.

The game tables were filled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Games favored were Hand & Foot, Mexican Train, Rummy Cubes and Darts. Everyone had such a good time that it was decided that the Games Days should be scheduled for more than once a month. So organizers are looking for volunteers who would like to head up additional games tables on Saturdays. The bar is in good hands with Bill O’Brien serving up his healthy Bloody Marys, along with beer and wine. LCS members play for free and non-members are charged a nominal 20-peso fee.

The next scheduled Games Day will be Saturday, May 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the back patio and gazebo areas of LCS. Call LCS at 766-1140 or check out the LCS bulletin boards for more information.
