My Mexican Kitchen

My Mexican Kitchen has been a Bucerias food alternative destination since December 2006. It was born from a love of food created by Edgar Cordova and Travis Dietz.

This year finds My Mexican Kitchen moving into a more spacious location in Bucerias on Augustin Melgar 9, not far from Highway 200, as well as a new offering in response to customer questions.

Starting out as a catering service, the two men progressed into providing occasional buffet dinners, then eventually found their niche in Mexican cooking classes.

As an interactive experience, the cooking classes guide participants through the rich smells, flavors and textures of Mexico, creating a themed dining experience. Classes include salsas, appetizers, seafood and meat dishes.

The cooking classes take place from 6 p.m. to 9 or 9:30 p.m.
