A series of traditional festivities normally keep lakeside communities buzzing with activity from the end of April through mid-May. This year the typical hullabaloo will be absent, or at least greatly subdued, as a side effect of the cresting Covid-19 pandemic.
St. Andrew’s Anglican
St. Andrew’s Anglican Church will meet Sunday, April 26, noon, via Zoom for coffee hour, and Tim will teach us some new music for Morning Prayer, so that we can sing along at home. Beginning Sunday May 3, we will meet at 10 a.m. via Zoom for Morning Prayer with music and sermon.

Lakeside area merchants have put on their thinking caps to innovate their business models in order to stay afloat through the economic downturn caused by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

Jewish Congregation
The Lake Chapala Jewish Congregation is closed until further notice. This includes the annual Passover Seder, which would have been held Wednesday, April 8, at Manix restaurant.
