Hundreds of partygoers will ring in 2020 at the Chapala waterfront Tuesday, December 31, as the local government once again hosts a lively New Year’s Eve bash for all comers.
Christ Church
Christ Church Lakeside, a parish of the Diocese of the West in the Anglican Church of Mexico, will observe the First Sunday after Christmas Day on December 29, 11 a.m. in La Huerta Events Center. Rev. Jim Powers will celebrate and give a message with the theme, “The Light of the World,” based on John 1:1-18.
Lake Chapala area residents and visitors can look forward to the celebration of national holidays, along with dozens of traditional festivities and special entertainment happenings that will take place during 2020.
The Culinary Arts Society of Ajijic (CASA) holiday party held Monday, December 16 was “a very festive atmosphere with gorgeous presentations, not to mention delicious dishes,” says Monica Molloy.
