Although since Covid the Culinary Arts Society of Ajijic (CASA) no longer exists, the CASA Culinary Team still offered the donated dinner that was auctioned off at the Niños Incapacitados special gala earlier this year.
The two couples that purchased this dinner for eight chose Greek as their cuisine of choice.
The money they paid for the dinner supported ten very sick children who count on the care provided by Niños Incapacitados.
CASA volunteers custom-made and designed the menu, name cards, table runners and serviette covers to match the Greek-themed dinner.
There were 23 volunteers involved in pulling off this dinner for eight.
Barbara Clippinger, who is famous for her sold-old musicals, selected and prerecorded three and a half hours of Greek music to be played as background for the special dinner.
