Dear Sir,
A nation based upon Christian principles would be totally socialist. This was Jesus’ plan for a government, according to the Apostle Paul.
“Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold and laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.” Jesus commanded all Christians to, “Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.”
The Tea Party would have a major problem with a liberal Jew, named Jesus. And, I see nothing in their actions that would indicate they are Christian.
