Letters To The Editor - November 10, 2023

Dear Sir,

Albert Einstein once said, “Time is relative; its only worth depends upon what we do as it is passing.”

At the end of each year, many people consider the worth of their time over the past 12 months and then look forward to how they will do better during the next year. What are you doing with the gift of time?

I have thought a great deal about the local children and parents we serve as I volunteer in our clinics. I have concluded that the work we do really boils down to giving children a chance and the time to live their lives in the best way possible. As for their parents, every day is a gift of more time with their beloved children.

Many children we serve in Niños Incapacitados are running out of time. Time to live; time to recover from severe illnesses; time to spend with their family and parents. Someone like you can give a child in our program the gift of time by giving a gift of monetary support. You can wisely use your time and resources right now and in the next year to come. If you have given this year, thank you. If you will consider giving, thank you, too.

The holidays are soon upon us. At Niños Incapacitados, we wish you a joyous season with your friends and family.  Have a great and love-filled end of the year and a great start to 2024 with all the possibilities of helping and assisting those in need.
