On Sunday, June 14, the Rainbow Alliance held a Pride Celebration at Casa Aceuducto in Ajijic. Over 300 people came out and celebrated gender diversity, inclusion, and friendship. Despite the rain, everyone had fun. Truly, the evident joy was a sight to behold!
The party was a fundraiser for Ajijic Cares Foundation. Ajijic Cares Foundation’s mission is to bring awareness to the ongoing HIV/AIDS pandemic, provide sexual education training to people of all ages, and provide resources for sexual health and healing. The members of Ajijic Cares wish to extend a huge thank-you to The Rainbow Alliance and all who attended. The volunteers who put in so much time and effort ahead of the event should be very proud because the event was flawless. We are proud to collaborate with a group that provides so many resources to our community. Thank you again to the members of The Rainbow Alliance.
