Since December 1, Chapala’s Civil Protection and Fire Department (PCyB) has launched a campaign to detect the illegal sale of fireworks, which are in high demand during the Christmas and New Year season. 

December is pegged as a time for merriment and joy. But is also the season when elders among us are especially vulnerable to perils that can spoil holiday spirits.
