Making his first visit to Jalisco in his current role, Canadian Ambassador to Mexico Cameron MacKay attended the opening events of Guadalajara’s May Cultural Festival, to which Canada is this year’s guest country.

Students at the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) made their stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict clear by warmly welcoming Nadya Rashid, the newly appointed Palestinian ambassador to Mexico, during her keynote speech at the 12th Congress of the academic institution’s student union, the Federación Estudiantil Universitaria (FEU).
