A three-year-old boy from Tlajomulco has become the first confirmed fatality in Jalisco this year as a result of dengue, the mosquito-borne viral infection.

El Muro de los Muertos, the clay skull mural installed on the east side of the Marcos Castellanos elementary school, has become an icon of Ajijic street art since it was created by local artist Efrén González in 2016.

Canadian circus arts troupe Cirque Du Soleil returns to Guadalajara to present five performances of its acclaimed touring production, “Corteo,” between Thursday, September 28 and Sunday, October 1.
