The Osos (Bears) de Jaliaco, Guadalajara’s new basketball franchise, played their first home game Thursday, loosing heavily to 2011/12 champions Xalapa Falcons 76-110 at the Code Dome.

Two days earlier the Bears opened the season on the road in Toluca, beating the State of Mexico Giants 102-90.  (Left) The Osos’ Larry Morinia looks for an opening in Thursday’s game.
