Organizers of Jocotepec’s Primera Carrera Panorámica met with the press last week to announce details of the 12.6-kilometer race to be held on Sunday, October 12, with backing from the Federation of Mexican Athletics Associations  (FMAA). 

The race course makes a loop from the Jocotepec Malecón, through the center of town, up and over the Libramiento bypass and back to the starting line.

The entry fee will be 110 pesos up until August 30, rising to 130 pesos through October 10, and closing at 150 pesos for last minute registration.  The event is open to men and women divided into seven age categories.
