Charros flying high

The Charros de Jalisco maintained their impressive start to the Mexican Pacific League season with a 3-0 weekend series win over Mexicali.

The Tapatios went down 2-1 to Ciudad Obregon in three midweek games, but still retained second place in the standings.  

Next up at the Panamerican Stadium is a three-game series against the Caneros of  Los Mochis on Tuesday, November 4; Wednesday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6. All the games begin at 7 p.m.

The Charros go on the road for back-to-back series in Mexicali and Hermosillo, before returning to Guadalajara for a weekend series against the Tomateros of Culiacan on Friday, November 14, 7 p.m.; Saturday, November 15, 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 16, noon.
