The Charros de Jalisco baseball team reached the semifinals of the Mexico Pacific League (LMP) playoffs with a tight 1-0 victory over the Tomateros de Culiacan in game six of the seven-game, first-round series.

The Charros now face the Venados de Mazatlan for a place in the grand final.

The Charros play their first two semi-final games on the road in Mazatlan, Friday, January 11 and Saturday, January 12.  They return home to the Charros Stadium in Zapopan for games three and four, on Monday, January 14 and Tuesday, January 15, both  at 7:15 p.m. If needed, game five will be at the Charros Stadium on Wednesday, and games six and seven in Mazatlan on Friday and Saturday.
