On September 17, Canelo Alvarez will take on 40-year-old Kazakhstani Gennadiy Golovkin in a much-anticipated “trilogy” fight in Las Vegas. 

The two multiple-belt champions and boxing legends faced off in 2017 and 2018, resulting in a draw and a highly questionable majority decision for Alvarez. These battles sparked off a bitter rivalry that both boxers say will be defined once and for all next month.  With PPV add-ons, Alvarez is expected to earn $US65 million from his fight with Golovkin.
