After claiming the Cibacopa (Pacific Coast Basketball Circuit) title last month, the Astros de Jalisco stars are back on court vying for another crown, the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP).  

This league has a higher standard than Cibacopa, and the Astros currently lie in fifth place in the ten-team table with four wins and four losses.  Upcoming games at the Astros Arena on Guadalajara’s Avenida Avila Camacho (a few blocks from Plaza Patria) are Friday, August 19, 8 p.m. and Saturday, August 20, 6 p.m. against the Plateros de Fresnillo; Friday, September 2, 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 3, 6 p.m. against the Libertadores de Queretero; and Friday, September 16, 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 17, 6 p.m. against the Mineros de Zacetecas.
