The Astros de Jalisco are tied 1-1 with the Diablos Rojos of Mexico City in their best-of-seven semi-final series of the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP).
After losing the series opener on Monday, October 21, in Guadalajara, the Astros bounced back with a resounding 98-71 victory in the following game the next evening.
Depending on the outcomes of games three, four and five in the capital on October 24, 26 and 27, the two teams may return to Guadalajara for games six and seven, scheduled (if necessary) for Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, both at the Astros Arena, located on Avenida Ávila Camacho, just two blocks from Plaza Patria.
The winner will face either the Panteras de Aguascalientes or Fuerza Regia de Monterrey in the LNBP final.
The Astros are aiming to become the first team to win both the CIBACOPA (Pacific Basketball Circuit) and LNBP titles in the same year. The team was crowned CIBACOPA champions for the third time in July 2025.
