Charros chasing playoff spot in final home games

If World Cup soccer failed to rock your boat, there’s plenty of America’s favorite pastime, baseball, to enjoy, with the Charros de Jalisco competing in the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol (LMB) and looking on course for the playoffs, which begin the second week of August.

The Charros currently sit in fourth place in the North Zone standings, with a 39-36 record — coming off a run that saw them win the 2026 Caribbean Series on their home turf back in February.

There are two three-game weekend home series at the Estadio Panamericano in Zapopan to catch before the business end of the season: Friday to Sunday, July 24–26, against Acereros de Monclova, and Friday to Sunday, July 31–August 2, against Caliente de Durango.

Games start Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at boletomovil.com/charros-jalisco. The Estadio Panamericano is located just off the northern Guadalajara Periférico, and there is plenty of parking in the adjacent Auditorio Telmex lot.
