Iva Jovic, the 18-year-old U.S. tennis sensation who has risen to world No. 17, will defend the title she won last year at the Guadalajara Open WTA 500.

The tournament runs from September 13–19 at the tennis center adjacent to Parque Metropolitano in Zapopan.

Tickets are on sale now via Boletomóvil. The GDL Open was Jovic’s first WTA title.

She made her professional debut before her 15th birthday and played her first U.S. Open in 2024.

Jovic reached the fourth round of this year’s Wimbledon tournament, which just concluded, and the quarterfinal of the Australian Open in January.
