The Astros de Jalisco are headed to the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP) Grand Final for the first time since 2023 after completing a 4-0 sweep of defending champion Fuerza Regia de Monterrey in the Northern Zone Final.

The series-clinching win came Tuesday night, when the Astros took Game 4, 82-77, to eliminate the most decorated franchise in league history.

The Astros now await the winner of the other Zone Final between Soles de Mexicali and Panteras de Aguascalientes. The LNBP Grand Final is a best-of-seven series scheduled to run from November 12 to 23.
