Motorists are being advised to heed warning signs and exercise precautions while driving the stretch of highway between Chapala and Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos where a roadway maintenance project is in progress.

A number of drivers who frequently use that route report the danger of loose gravel spread out on the tarmac, which can cause vehicles traveling at high speed to skid and spin out of control.
