This week, municipal officials closed two gas stations, one on Avenida Real Acueducto and the other on the Carretera to Nogales, close to the entrance to the Technology Park.
Of the former, Zapopan Inspections Director Ana Patricia Godínez Luna said, “it is surrounded by commercial outlets. One of these is a restaurant about two meters away, as well as a hotel, buildings and a mall with cinemas.”
Zapopan Mayor Hector Vielma also said another seven gas stations are likely to have their licenses revoked in the coming days and weeks.
