More than 1,200 police officers and firefighters from all over Latin Ameriwill descended on Guadalajara this week for the fifth edition of the Juegos Latinamericanos de Policias y Bomberos.
The opening ceremony was held in the esplanade in front of the Cabañas Cultural Institute in the city center, while a number of events have been scheduled in the adjoining Plaza Tapatia, as well as at other venues around the city. The 20-kilometer cycle race (left) was held in the city’s Parque Dean.
