The elevated bridge linking Avenida Patria to Avenida Acueducto – across from the Andares Mall – has been closed for three weeks for upgrading and resurfacing.
The first days of the closure caused serious traffic congestion in the area, partly because almost no prior warning was given to the public.
The work is expected to conclude by August 11, according to Zapopan Public Works Director Ismael Jáuregui Castañeda.
