The Jalisco state government has received a donation of personal protection equipment (PPE) to help in the battle against Covid-19 from the Chinese city of Xiamen.
The package contained 20,000 face masks, of which half will be given to health workers at Jalisco hospitals, and half to municipal clinics in Guadalajara. Xiamen has shared a sister city relationship with Guadalajara for the past 20 years.
