A highlight of Guadalajara’s May Cultural Festival, running from May 3 to June 4, is the “Ruta Escultura” (Sculpture Route), comprising 33 sculptures by 14 artists positioned along a three-kilometer route that can be either walked or cycled.
The route goes from Avenida Chapultepec to the Degollado Theater, with works installed near the U.S. Consulate, Plazoleta Juarez, Templo Expaitorio, Paseo Alcalde and the Plaza Liberación. For a map of the route, see festivaldemayo.org/fcmj2023/rutaescult.
