Ajijic highway project poll set for August 19

Following a series of public meetings held throughout this week to familiarize Ajijic residents with plans to develop a biking path and sidewalks adjacent to the central highway, city hall officials are gearing up to conduct a formal public opinion poll, tentatively scheduled for Sunday, August 19.

According to press chief Carlos García, the survey will take place at the village plaza, where participants can register “up or down” votes on the project and add observations suggesting moderate modifications to be taken into consideration.
