Caring people residing in the Lake Chapala area have come up with various options for supporting disaster relief for victims of the September 7 earthquake in Oaxaca and Chiapas.
The Gringos Ajijic and Lakeside Facebook group organized a collection of medical, hygiene and cleaning supplies and non-perishable foods on September 13 and 14 that has been channeled through the state headquarters of the DIF (Family Development Agency.
The same kind of materials are still being received by Cruz Roja Chapala.
