Construction of the Radisson Blu Ajijic condo-hotel is up and running full speed ahead following a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony held at the site Friday, January 26.
The project is rising on the grounds of the El Dorado residential complex, adjacent to the Libramiento bypass, with an opening date slated for summer 2020. The architectural design closely matches the existing El Dorado condo tower.
Advertised as a resort, spa and residence facility, it brings a unique real estate model to lakeside. Operating as a five star hotel under a condominium legal regime, it offers investors the benefits of outright ownership of the 56 individual units and multiple amenities.
Buyer options include junior suites, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units ranging from 640 to 3,000 square feet in size, with terraces looking out to sweeping lake views. All will be sold fully furnished and professionally decorated to meet exacting Radisson Blu standards. Interior finishes feature marble floors, granite countertops and indirect lighting.
First rate services include concierge, valet, bell boys, room service, a restaurant, spa, fully equipped gym, swimming pools, tennis courts, clubhouse and 24-hour on site security.
The Radisson Blu could be an especially enticing prospect for part-time lakeside residents who want to enjoy luxury living during periods of occupation and the potential for bringing in rental income when they are absent. Added are the conveniences of the hotel operator that will handle maintenance, management, marketing and a well-trained staff.
