Chapala traffic cops have finally cracked down on persistent parking violations observed on Calle Allen W. Lloyd in San Antonio Tlayacapan.
Two cars were towed off to the municipal pound during a midday operation carried out Wednesday, May 22.
Clients of nearby businesses have a habit of parking along the east side of the street that is marked with a yellow line painted on the curb and several no-parking signs. The flagrant flouting of the regulations aggravates congestion on the access to the El Parque complex, the town cemetery, the Instituto Loyola and Lakeside Little Theatre. Parking is also prohibited on the opposite side of the street at the corner intersecting with the central highway.
