The Chapala municipal government held a ceremony Wednesday, November 13 to show off new and used vehicles that were added to its official fleet this month.
The extra wheels include four 2020 model Nissan pickups and a 2011 Toyota pickup assigned to the municipal police force, plus two 2020 model yellow transport vans, a Honda CRV, a Ford Ranger pickup and a Chevrolet truck with cherry picker for other agencies, all provided on permanent loan by the Jalisco state government. In addition, the local government has purchased three used Nissan trucks for the SIMAPA water agency and another for the General Services Department.
