A huge cargo truck apparently lost brake power while traveling south along Avenida Madero around 4 p.m. Thursday, March 11.
After avoiding collisions with other vehicles and pedestrians, the driver finally broke the truck´s forward momentum by crashing into the old stone fountain standing at the intersection with Avenida Hidalgo.
No further details on damages or injuries were available at press time.
