Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum responded to the recent U.S. restrictions on Mexican flights, imposed by the Trump administration, stating that there is no justification for the sanctions.
The measures, which threaten to end the partnership between Delta Air Lines and Aeromexico, are a direct result of Mexico’s decision to transfer some operations from Benito Juárez International Airport to the new Felipe Ángeles International Airport, over 30 miles away.
