Representatives from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services last week gave a four-day course in sea search and rescue to 20 members of Jalisco and Michoacan Civil Protection units.
The training exercise, which took place in Puerto Vallarta, was carried out in collaboration with the U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Humanitarian Assistance Program and the National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC).
The Northern Command provided the equipment used during the course.
