The 18th Vallarta Azteca International Folk Dance Festival (FESTVA) will take place from April 28 to May 5, featuring dance groups from seven nations, including Mexico, Central and South America and Europe, offering free performances in various forums in Puerto Vallarta, such as the Malecón Arches and Teatro Vallarta.
The festival’s colorful inaugural parade starts at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, going from the Lazaro Cardenas Park to the Malecon lighthouse, where the opening ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Check out the full program on Facebook at Festival Vallarta Azteca del Folclor Internacional.
Coming up later this month, from May 22 to 26, is Vallarta Pride 2024, one of the most exciting celebrations of its kind in Mexico. “Sun & the Beach” is the motto of the 11th edition of this popular event.
