No sector has been harder hit by the Covid-19 health emergency than the restaurant sector.
Although most restaurants have remained open, their business has nose-dived and outlets are only managing to keep afloat through take-out orders and deliveries. At the start of last month, the “Aquí Nadie Truena” campaign was launched in Jalisco to encourage people to place orders and keep restaurants alive. The movement has united restaurateurs of all kinds, from top-end eateries to simple taquerias, in the hope they can keep on paying their chefs, kitchen hands, waiters and bar staff.
