Jalisco´s Covid-19 hospitalization rate has diminished significantly in recent weeks, and now stands at 12.7 percent, meaning that only 1.2 out of every ten beds designated for infected patients is currently occupied, the state Health Department (SSJ) reported.
As of March 22, 386 beds out of 3,033 designated in public health care institutions for Covid sufferers were filled, the SSJ said.
Just over 70 percent were being treated at hospitals operated by the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS); 23.06 percent by the Jalisco Health Secretariat (SSJ) and 5.44 percent by the ISSSTE, the health care institution for government employees.
