EXPORTS SOAR
Jalisco exports increased by 30.6 percent in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year. The biggest jumps were in the export of computer, communication and electronic equipment, components and accessories. This sector accounts for 52 percent of all exports from the state, followed by beverages and tobacco at 11.6 percent and plastics and rubber products at 9.9 percent.
