Another closure is located on the Maravatío–Zapotlanejo highway at the toll booth in Ocotlán. Traffic is also intermittent on the Guadalajara–Colima highway near the bridge leading into Ciudad Guzmán. Additionally, the section between Tototlán and Atotonilco remains closed, with passage allowed only for medical emergencies.
Further disruptions are reported on the La Barca–Jiquilpan route, where the road is closed at kilometer 10, with a further blockade set up at the detour to Irapuato at kilometer 077+100.
Protesters have stated that there is no estimated time for the end of the sit-ins and are demanding an increase in the price per ton of corn and improved road safety measures from federal authorities.
