Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre presented his latest appointments to fill vacant positions on the City Hall staff at a press conference held Thursday, May 26.

SOS Chapala Dog Rescue, a local NGO dedicated to saving and finding permanent homes for  abused and abandoned canines, has explained why it has serious reservations about the local government’s plans to relocate the dog shelter that has operated on the west end of Ajijic since July 2020.

A new well has been up and running in Ajijic since the end of last week.
