Future Living seminars open to the public

St. Andrew’s Anglican Church has scheduled a series of weekly seminars linked together under the title “Future Living” with the aim of helping local people gain knowledge on planning for care in the later stages of life, either at home or in one of the lakeside area’s senior resident facilities.

Recycling project moves forward

Under management of the Movimiento Ambiental Solidario (MAS) non-profit association, the Reciclaje de Ribera Chapala project is making strides in improving the grounds and efficiency at the Centro de Acopio recycling collection center located in a large white warehouse set on the north side of the highway about a five minute drive from the western outskirts of Ajijic.

Jesus crucified: an epic dramatization

Dramatic representations of the Passion of Christ will staged by amateur theater groups in the lakeside area next week. Program formats vary from place to place, each reflecting the hard work, creative talents and profound religious devotion of hundreds of volunteers.
