BOOSTER SHOTS IN CHAPALA, JOCOTEPEC

AstraZeneca booster shots for over 60s are scheduled Tuesday, January 4 through Friday, January 7 at the Parque Cristiania in Chapala and the Marcos Castellano Auditorium in Jocotepec. Times are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In Chapala and 8 a.m to 4 p.m. in Jocotepec.


Aguirre keeps busy meeting agenda with bigwigs

With barely a month at the helm of City Hall under his belt, Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre has spent much of the past six weeks hobnobbing with state and federal officials and other public figures to seek support for programs and projects of benefit to his constituents.

Christmas feasts for sanitation workers

Chapala Mayor Alejandro Aguirre gave a shout-out to the Gringos Ajijic and Lakeside Facebook group in gratitude for the generous donation of Christmas dinner food packages distributed to employees of the municipality’s Aseo Pùblico sanitation department.

A salute to local musicians

José Villalobos, Jesús Miramontes and Gerardo Rojas, founding members of the Cuarteto Romántico Los Flamingos, were among the performers appearing at the tribute to Ajijic musicians held Friday, December 17, at the Ajijic plaza esplanade.
