A series of spring recitals at the Museo Regional de Guadalajara will mark the 66th anniversary of the Universidad de Guadalajara Department of Music.
The series featuring talented musicians and singers from Mexico and abroad began on Wednesday, February 21 and runs through May 9, with a three-week break for Easter.
The free concerts are held each Wednesday, 8 p.m. at the museum, located in the heart of Guadalajara’s centro historico, at Liceo 60, opposite the Rotunda of Illustrious Jalisciences.
The schedule is as follows:
February 28: Everado Rojas (piano)
March 7: Bohemia Duo, Lenka Smolcakov (flute) and Eva Pleskova (guitar)
March 14: Enrique Velasco (guitar)
March 21: Luis Alberto Llanesa (baritone)
April 11: Carlos Alberto Gutierrez (piano)
April 18: Gerardo Ruiz (harpsichord)
April 25: Portuguese Brass Trio.
May 2: Duo Argentum, Franca Terrazas (flute) and Victor Castillo (guitar)
May 9: Anisley Martinez (soprano) and Christophe Lafontaine (piano)
