Lakeside area residents are showing up in droves to pay their annual bills for predial property taxes at the Castastro counters at Chapala City Hall.
Local officials confirm that the municipality’s website access to predial accounts has not been activated due to technical glitches.
However, office hours have been expanded this year to run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, plus 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Expatriate homeowners are reporting smooth sailing and fast service on most days.
