Six distinguished ladies were recognized for contributions to the community at the Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club’s 2016 Lakeside Women of the Year Awards ceremony, held on March 11.
Mayor Javier Degollado was there to congratulate (left to right) Ginger Blalock Gonzales (education), María Estela García Hernández (medical/health care), Roseann Wilshere (entrepreneur/business), Zaida Cristina Reynosa (Woman of the Year) and Kari Higgins (volunteer). Missing from the picture is Sheila Ruof (arts and culture) who was unable to attend.
