Chapala area school kids are once again receiving free supplies to start the 2020-2021 academic year, now being distributed door-to-door by the local government.
Through the Jalisco government’s ReCrea program, students attending basic level public schools are provided with packets containing notebooks, pens and pencils, and other essential classroom supplies, along with school uniforms and shoes, normally handed out at their respective learning institutions during the first days of the new school year.
This time, however, with the question of physical attendance in classrooms still up in the air due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Chapala authorities implemented a home delivery system that got underway this week.
