The first of five weekly seminars tied to the theme of future planning for senior citizens will be held at Saturday, May 6, 10 a.m., at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Calle San Lucas 19 in Riberas del Pilar.
The guest speaker will be Josefina (Mina) Contreras, director of lakeside’s two Mi Castia Nursing Home and Assisted Living Centers.
Contreras graduated from the University of Guadalajara School of Nursing and holds a degree as a Registered Nurse. She gained experience working locally as a healthcare professional at several Lakeside clinics and medical offices, as well as providing private nursing services prior to opening the Mi Casita facilities.
The seminars will continue on consecutive Saturdays through June 10 to help guide seniors on options for the future in planning for assisted living, medical concierge services and other issues related to old age. Attendance is open to all interested persons, free of charge.
